Fill out the Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefits (CNEEB) application online through MealAppNow to help our schools secure funds for essential programs and reduce/eliminate fees or receive additional benefits.

Complete a CNEEB application to help your school bring in money to pay for:

• Before and after-school programs.

• Additional paraeducators and support staff.

• Family engagement staff and activities.

• Resources for classrooms, teachers and children.

Complete a CNEEB application to potentially reduce or eliminate fees for:

• Athletics participation. 

• ASB cards.

• Extracurricular activities.

• Technology fines.

• College Applications & Admissions Tests.

You may also qualify for SUN Bucks, or Summer EBT, a DSHS program to help pay for your summer 2025 grocery expenses, making summer months more manageable. 

Submit an application if your total household monthly income is the same or less than the amount listed for the number of household members:

• 1 member: $2,322 per month

• 2 members: $3,152 per month

• 3 members: $3,981 per month

• 4 members: $4,810 per month

• 5 members: $5,640 per month

• 6 members: $6,469 per month

• 7 members: $7,299 per month

• 8 members: $8,128 per month

• Each additional household member: $830 per month

Kent School District has been approved for the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program for the 2024-2025, 2025-2026, 2026-2027, and 2027-2028 school years. All enrolled students can receive a breakfast and lunch on campus at no charge each school day, regardless of family or household income.

We encourage families to complete the Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefits (CNEEB) application online through MealAppNow because it only takes a few minutes and is the fastest, easiest way to get approved. 

If you can’t complete the CNEEB application online, you can download or request a paper copy. To have one mailed to you, email NutritionServicesOffice@kent.k12.wa.us or call (253) 373-7275.

Only designated staff will be informed of the student's eligibility for the sole purpose of providing additional financial assistance and support. Providing this consent is optional and does not affect your child(ren)'s access to no-cost meals.

There are no citizenship requirements for participation in federal Child Nutrition Programs, and immigration status is not requested or disclosed.

Complete the Consent to Share Eligibility form to allow your eligibility status to be shared for other program benefits.

Return completed paper applications or Consent to Share Eligibility forms using the drop-box located at the main entrance of the Kent School District Administration Center (12033 SE 256th Street, Kent) or mail to:
