The Kent School District is proud to celebrate two outstanding graduates from Kent Meridian High School’s Class of 2025 who are now serving our country in the United States Marine Corps, demonstrating leadership, dedication, and excellence beyond the classroom.

Serving with Skill, Purpose, and Pride

Private Katherine Isabella Weiler-Medellin is serving as a Weather Analyst & Forecaster within Marine Corps Meteorology and Oceanography. In this highly specialized role, Katherine supports mission success by collecting, validating, and analyzing meteorological and oceanographic data. Her work produces critical weather forecasts that guide operations involving personnel, aviation, sea-based missions, and special operations on land, sea, and air. Her precision and expertise help ensure safety, readiness, and mission success for Marines operating across the globe.

Private First Class Eliane Lo serves as an Aviation Logistics Specialist, a role essential to aviation readiness and operational success. Eliane focuses on developing logistics support plans that ensure aviation units are fully prepared with the maintenance, supplies, and operational capabilities they need. She also supports deployment planning by coordinating transportation for personnel, equipment, and supplies—helping guarantee that missions are executed smoothly, efficiently, and on time.
