CHMS Lego League begins Tuesday, September 3rd.
Help Support Lego League with their annual fundraiser: Red Robin, Thursday, September 5th. 20% of your food purchase goes back to CHMS Lego League



Reminder: CHMS Picture Day is tomorrow during ELA classes.
All students/staff are required to take a picture for their ID card.
ID cards serve for student identification, ASB and bus passes
Optional: you may pre-purchase picture packages online through Dorian studios


Fall Sports Begin September 3rd!
Boys Soccer is a cut sport
Girls Badminton and
Co-Ed Track and Field are non-cut sports.
Athletes must be registered in final forms, have all electronic forms signed, and an uploaded physical in order to be eligible to participate.

All KSD schools, buildings, and the Administration Center will be closed on Monday, September 2, in observance of Labor Day. Wishing everyone a safe and restful holiday!


Timberwolves: Laptop Deployment Days are coming: Monday September 9th and Tuesday, September 10th.
Laptops will only be deployed to students who have a SIGNED KSD Technology Agreement Form in Qmlative, or paper copy turned into the library.



Timberwolves: Picture Day is coming Tuesday, September 3rd.
All students and staff are required to have their pictures taken. Students will use these pictures for their photo ID/bus pass.

We are excited to welcome students to Cedar Heights tomorrow, August 28th.
We will be on a rolling start schedule:
6th grade: 8:15am
7th/8th grade 11:15
Buses will run regular times for 6th grade and again 3 hours later for 7th/8th grade students.
Can't wait to have all of our Timberwolves back to the Den!


CHMS Families:
To support the academic and social emotional learning of our students, beginning in the Fall of 2024, Cedar Heights will be returning as a "No Phone Zone".
Students will be asked to:
1. Power off all devices prior to entering the building
2. Store their device in their backpack for the remainder of the school day
Should families need to contact their student(s) they are encouraged to call the main office.

CHMS Student Laptops will be deployed September 9th and 10th. Laptops will only be deployed for those students with signed KSD Technology Agreements in Qmlativ, or students may obtain a paper copy once school starts and submit that signed copy to the library.

High School 9th graders start at the normal time. 10th-12th graders start 3 hours late.
