Last week, Pine Tree Elementary hosted its very first Indigenous People in STEM event! Our students explored the inspiring stories of Indigenous leaders in STEM and shared their discoveries with awesome presentations. A big shoutout to librarian Netera Pratt-Gutierrez for inviting author and Haida Tribe member Sondra Segundo to read her book—it was such a highlight! 📚✨ Huge thanks to Netera and the staff for making this event a success, and great job, Falcons!
