As a community, we are proud of the Seattle Seahawks and their Super Bowl win. We share in the excitement and pride that this achievement brings as it unites our community in celebration. The Seahawks will be honored with a parade on Wednesday, February 11, in Seattle.
All Schools Open
All Kent School District schools will remain open Wednesday, February 11, on our normal early release schedule. Classes will begin and end on the early release day schedule, and instruction will continue as planned.
Keeping schools open helps give students stability, safety, and a sense of routine. For many households, schools do more than teach, they provide meals, transportation, and special support services. When schools stay open, students can keep learning without interruption, and essential services continue for those who rely on them.
Attendance
If your student will be absent from school, please remember to report the absence to your student’s school.
