Kent School District Receives $560,000 Grant from King County to Support Outdoor Education
We are excited to share great news with our Kent School District families and community! The Metropolitan King County Council unanimously approved its 2026–2027 budget, which provides $560,000 for KSD’s 5th Grade Outdoor Education Program. The district received an official notification from Councilmember De’Sean Quinn on November 25.
We are deeply grateful to King County and Councilmember De’Sean Quinn for recognizing the importance of this program and for their commitment to supporting education and community well-being. Thank you to everyone who advocates for our students and programs.
