Tomorrow will be our last day of school. No lunch will be served. Dismissal at 12:25 Students are encouraged to wear Fairwood t-shirts. PTSA just recently gifted shirts for all K-4 students. This would be a great opportunity to wear that shirt or another favorite spirit wear item! 💙💛

Get ready Chargers! The Apex Leadership program is coming to our school next week! Get ready for some great leadership habits, FUN at recess, and an epic final FUN RUN Event! This PTA FUNdraiser supports so many programs for ALL of our students! We NEED and APPRECIATE your support of our awesome students and school! The program starts Tuesday, May 27th!

Spread the word to Fairwood alumni, class of 2025, our Grad Walk will be Friday, June 6 at 2:30. Grads are invited to wear cap and gown and be celebrated by current Fairwood students and staff. Please let them know to arrive a few minutes early and remember to sign in at the office. We look forward to celebrating our 2025 graduates.

Thursday, March 6 Celebrate Reading with a Parade of Hats! Many stories that we love have characters that wear hats. Cat in the Hat, Robin Hood, The Mad Hatter, Sherlock Holmes and many more. Wear your favorite hat March 6th to celebrate reading!

All schools and the administration campus are open today, Friday, February 14. Schools are starting and ending at their normal times with the exception of elementary schools that will release three hours early due to elementary conferences. We urge everyone to dress warmly and exercise caution on the roads, in parking lots, and along walking routes and sidewalks.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for our area until 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, February 14. This weather system is expected to bring snow and freezing temperatures overnight and into the morning hours. Due to a scheduled three-hour early release for all elementary schools as part of elementary conferences, a two-hour delayed/late start cannot be implemented due to conflicts within our transportation system, which operates multiple routes for both elementary and secondary schools. We encourage you to stay informed by checking local weather reports and monitoring your email or other preferred communication channels early tomorrow morning, Friday, February 14. In the event of any changes to school schedules or district operations, we will make a decision by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, February 14.
