Lake Youngs December Dress-up Days! Starting December 2nd to December 20th, have your students join in!

The Kent School District is deeply grateful to voters for passing the Capital and Technology Replacement Levy! Your support ensures our students have the technology, safe buildings, and resources they need to thrive. This levy allows us to upgrade critical infrastructure, enhance cybersecurity, and create dynamic learning environments for all students. All Kent School District Schools and the administration campus are open and operating on normal schedules Monday, November 25. Buses are on normal routes at the regularly scheduled pick-up times.

Schools Closed Friday, November 22, Administration Campus Open. We appreciate your understanding as we continue to prioritize the safety of our students and staff in the aftermath of this severe windstorm. We are working diligently with Puget Sound Energy (PSE) to reopen our schools. Currently, there are 17 schools without power and three with unsafe conditions. All schools and administration campus will be closed, Thursday, Nov. 21. Thank you for your patience as we continue to work to open our schools. As of 6:30 p.m. today, 20 schools and the administration campus are without power caused by the severe windstorm. No School Monday November 11th in Honor of Veterans. We are also having a Veterans Day assembly on Friday November 8th from 9:30 to 10:30. All Veterans are invited!

It’s Election Day! Remember to turn in your ballot to any drop box location by 8:00 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, November 5. KSD encourages all registered voters to vote in all elections. Remember to vote!

Today kicks off the start to our first "Grizzlies at the Game" event for this year! The first being a night out to watch the Seattle Thunderbirds take on the Everett Silvertips on Saturday, November 16th at 6pm! Tickets are $22 each. This is a fun family friendly event where you can eat dinner before or during the game then watch a good local rivalry of hockey! Elementary Conferences are happening next week, October 21-25. Conference dismissal time is 3 hours early for elementary schools on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. All KSD schools will release 2 hours early on Wednesday. As conferences are approaching, we want to ensure you have a successful conference with your student's teacher. Check out these five tips!
