Community Invited to Learn About School Safety and School Resource Officer Partnership

Kent School District families, students, staff, and community members are invited to attend a Safety Services and Kent Police School Resource Officer Program discussion on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026, from 4 to 5 p.m. at Kent Meridian High School, Main Building Room 162.

The event will provide an opportunity to learn more about the district's safety program and its partnership with Kent Police School Resource Officers. Attendees will hear about school safety efforts, ask questions, and engage in conversation with district and law enforcement representatives.

Kent School District is committed to maintaining open communication with students, families, and the community about school safety. Additional opportunities for learning, discussion, and community engagement on school safety topics will be offered throughout the 2026-27 school year.
