After the incredible creativity nearly 400 students shared last year, we are thrilled to open the OneKSD Art Contest again!
All current Kent School District students and employees are invited to showcase their creativity and visually express what equity, opportunity, belonging, and collective success look like in our schools.
Prompt: Create an original artwork that represents what equity OneKSD means to you
Artwork requirements: 8.5 by 11 inches, using any traditional or digital medium (drawing, painting, photography, collage, digital design, etc.)
Enter in person: Pick up a printed entry form from your school’s office (it doubles as a canvas!) and return it by Monday, January 5, 2026
Enter online: Upload a photo or scan of the artwork using the online entry form through January 11, 2026

This contest is part of the OneKSD initiative, which celebrates how strong we are when we come together as one. Aligning with several strategic goals, it supports our commitment to creating a culture of belonging for students, families, and staff and promotes a sense of unity across the Kent School District.

Six category winners will be surprised and celebrated at their schools in February, and families will be invited!
Up to 60 entries (the top 10 from each category) will be showcased on the KSD website.

Volunteer Opportunity
Staff, parents/guardians, and community members are invited to help us choose the winners. Submit the OneKSD Art Contest Volunteer Judge Opt-In Form by January 16 to participate. You can still judge if you or your child enters, just not in your category(ies).
