Cedar Heights students will be participating in the Healthy Youth Survey that will be administered during the month of October. The Healthy Youth Survey (HYS) is a collaborative effort of the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, the Department of Health, the Department of Social and Health Service's Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery, and Liquor and Cannabis Board. The Healthy Youth Survey provides important survey results about the health of adolescents in Washington. County prevention coordinators, community mobilization coalitions, community public health and safety networks, and others use this information to guide policy and programs that serve youth.
REGISTER NOW FOR THE SEASON 2 - Athletics!!! - A new online athletic participation registration system is available now. Registration will be open before the beginning of each season and will close when the season has officially started.
At this time, wearing hoods and hats, having earbuds in, or headphones out around your neck, is simply disrespectful. These items need to be stowed away once you are in the halls, or at 8:20. They may not be worn or taken out again until 3:10. This includes phones.
Opportunity to Review HIV lessons Washington State law requires that every student receives HIV/AIDS prevention education in grades 5 through 12. Because this unit covers sensitive topics, Washington State law and Kent School District policy require that parents are provided with an opportunity to preview these lessons.
