Our district is participating in the Washington State 2014 Healthy Youth Survey during the week of October 13th – 17th.
The Healthy Youth survey includes questions related to physical activity and diet, unintentional and intentional injury, substance use, risk and protective factors, and access to school-based services. Survey results are used by schools, communities and state agencies to plan programs to support our youth and reduce their risks.
The Healthy Youth Survey is given to students in grades 6, 8, 10 and 12 across Washington State.
Participation in the survey is voluntary and the students’ answers are anonymous.
Please read the Parent and Student Notification flyer for more information about the Healthy Youth Survey.

School Parking Lots: The Parent parking lot is the loop by the bell. The curbs in the loop that are painted red are means no parking or leaving your vehicle at any time. Parking is permitted down near Kindergarten Bay, but cars cannot enter between 9:10-9:20 or 3:35-3:45. Buses are blocking the entrance at these times.
At Arrival Time:You are asked to help your child understand for their safety that your car needs to be next to the inside curb prior to your child exiting your vehicle. DO NOT leave your vehicle unattended.
At Dismissal Time:Please pull into the inside lane/inside curb before allowing your child to enter your vehicle and then continue on your way. Please no parking in the red zone. Please don’t ask your child to enter your vehicle while you are in the middle lane. DO NOT leave your vehicle unattended unless you are parked in a parking spot.
Bus Loop: It is for buses only from 9:10-9:20 and 3:30-3:45.When there are buses in the loop, please do not enter the bus loop. They are only there for approximately 10 minutes. Once all buses leave, you may enter the bus loop area to drop off your child next to the curb. Please note this is a one way area. Do not try to enter at the crosswalk as this is an exit only. Be aware of the other children and cars. Safety is our main concern!
With your understanding and cooperation we should be able to keep all students safe at arrival and dismissal times. Thank you for working together to make drop off and pick up times smoother and safe for all!!
