Classroom Enrichment Grants

The Kent Schools Foundation is accepting applications for its second Classroom Enrichment Grant cycle through April 26 at 5 p.m. Earlier this year, eleven of our schools received grants from the Kent Schools Foundation (KSF) for reading, physical education, art, and music programs to enrich students’ daily experiences.

KSF engages with families, educators, businesses, and the broader community to fund innovative and supportive learning opportunities for every student in KSD.c They hope to double the awards in the second cycle by reaching more schools across the district.

Grant awards are typically $500 or less for each application. In limited circumstances, the Foundation may award a grant greater than $500. Applications requesting $500, or less, will be evaluated prior to those which are greater than $500. Each grant application requires approval from the schools’ principal. All educators in KSD are encouraged to apply

First Grant Cycle Recipients

The Kent Schools Foundation awarded 18 educators a total of $9,000 in grant funding for projects in their schools.  Thank you Kent Schools Foundation

“The passion and commitment displayed by our education professionals in applying for these grants reflects the very best our district has to offer," KSF posted on their Facebook page.
