A Helping Hand for Those in Need
Daniel Elementary Custodian Sui Peng and Counselor Cheikh Fall were recently met by a visit from Superintendent Vela, thanking them for helping a family in need.
In late October, a mother and child were stranded at Daniel Elementary School due to a flat tire. Daniel Elementary custodian Sui Peng and counselor Cheikh Fall noticed this family and offered to change their tire. Unfortunately, when they pulled the spare out of the trunk, it was also flat.
Due to limited resources, the mother could not replace the tire. Instead, Mr. Peng drove to the nearest tire store, purchased a tire for this family, and then changed the tire so they could get on the road.
We thank Mr. Peng and Mr. Fall for their willingness to go the extra mile to help a family in need.
