School Begins Thursday, September 8, 2022

Today, a tentative agreement on a contract was reached by the Kent School District (KSD) and Kent Education Association (KEA) bargaining teams in the early morning hours. The next step was ratification of the contract by KEA membership.

We are pleased to announce KEA ratified the contract tonight and we look forward to starting the school year and welcoming students tomorrow.

Kindergarten students: Tuesday, September 13, 2022.
Meridian Preschool, Park Orchard Preschool, and Early Childhood Special Education Preschool (ECSE): Tuesday, September 13, 2022.
