Meghin Margel Officially Becomes Member of KSD School Board

Meghin is a proud graduate of Kentridge High School and has two kids, a daughter who is a freshman at Kentridge and a sonPicture of Margel's Family attending Ridgewood Elementary School. She graduated from the University of Washington with a political science degree and has worked in the financial industry for almost 30 years. She recently received her Master of Business Administration from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington.

Margel’s family and friends were on hand to watch her be sworn in and participate in her first school board meeting. During the meeting, Margel thanked her family and supporters for their encouragement of her in taking this role, and she reiterated her commitment to making sure she is advocating for students in the Kent School District. “This was something I wanted to do for avery long time, and I’m deeply committed to Kent School District,” she said.

Congratulations to Meghin Margel for officially becoming a school board member and part of Team KSD. Margel will serve in this role until November 2023, when this director position will be up for re-election.
