“We are honored to be ranked again,” Martin Sortun Principal Gregory Kroll said. “This achievement is the result of a team of dedicated professionals and families working closely together and collaborating to give each child what they need. We invest in building positive and productive relationships with all our students, to build upon their strengths. We are all proud of their individual and collective achievements.”
The rankings are based on academic, economic and racial diversity, classroom size, and teacher experience.
“In its fourth installation of elementary school rankings, the Business Journal analyzed the most recent OSPI data on test scores, teacher experience levels, racial and economic diversity and classroom size,” they explained in the article. “Our proprietary formula has been updated to weigh the latter three factors more heavily.”
Thank you to the students, staff, families, and community members who support our students and are dedicated to preparing them for success!
