New Leaders in 2019-2020

Welcome, Mr. Tytler & Ms. Lee!

We're proud to welcome Principal Paul Tytler and Assistant Principal Jinna Lee to our mascot family in 2019-2020.

Principal Paul Tytler

Mr. Tytler earned his Master of Educational Leadership degree from the University of Washington, and he earned his bachelor’s degree in special education from SUNY Geneseo in New York.

Mr Tytler began teaching in 1990 in Rochester, New York and served in a leadership role as an assistant principal in 1997.

He most recently joined the Kent School District in 2018 as a program specialist in the Inclusive Education team.

Assistant Principal Jinna Lee

Ms. Lee earned a master’s in teaching and a bachelor’s degree in English and sociology from the University of Washington. She will complete the University of Washington Danforth Education Leadership Program in June 2019.

Ms. Lee began teaching with the Kent School District in 2010 and has worked as an English Language Learners (ELL) and basic education teacher.

She most recently held the position of Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) instructional coach at East Hill Elementary School.
