  • School Board Tables Vote at June 8 Board Meeting

    Due to an internet connectivity issue, all five board members were unable to participate in the discussion on the motion to reject the Instructional Materials Committee’s decision to remove the book “Jack of Hearts (and Other Parts)” by Lev A.C. Rosen from Cedar Heights Middle School. It was decided the continuation of discussion and a vote would be more appropriate at a time when all board members may participate.

  • Apply to join the KSD Bond Task Force!

    We are currently recruiting parents/guardians of active Kent School District students to provide input on items for a 2023 bond measure. The purpose of this task force is to make recommendations to district officials who will present a plan to the school board. The deadline for applying is Friday, June 10, 2022.
