Kentridge High School
    Culminating Project

    What is the Culminating Project?

The Kent School District has tailored the Culminating Project to further reflect the expectations and mission of the entire school district. Many of the requirements of the Culminating Project are assignments and activities that Kentridge students are already doing as a result of their classroom work, community involvement, and school activities, but this is a formal compilation of the work done by students.

Students at Kentridge will save all of their work in an electronic portfolio, called Naviance, which can be accessed 24/7 via the internet.  They will also have access to it year-round, and even for several years after their graduation from KR.

Students will be guided through the requirements by staff during Advisory class, but most tasks will be completed on a students own time. If students complete each task as outlined each year in Naviance, this project will not be an overwhelming senior project but will truly be a reflection of a students learning growth from his/her high school career.
