Pass a state test in a different state

Students who enroll in a Washington State public high school for

the first time in the 11th or 12th grades may

substitute passing scores on another state’s test.

Students who have passed their original graduation date may have their state test requirement waived by passing a college-level class in that subject.

    New to Washington State?

Students who move to Washington State after grade 10 may be able to substitute passing scores on another state's high school exam like the ISAT in Idaho or OAKS in Oregon.  Students should talk with a counselor about their choices.
