Third Quarter Message
It is hard to believe that the second quarter has come to an end. So much has happened since school began:
- Schoolwide Expectations Assembly
- Curriculum Family Night
- Party with the Principal
- Discovery U
- Picture Day
- Bullying Prevention Month
- Elementary Conference Week
- Scholastic Book Fair
- Holiday Concert
- MLK Jr. Assembly
Congratulations to students who won Party with the Principal! These are the names generated from the Super Scholar ticket raffle. Students enjoy pizza and games with Principal Lloyd while celebrating "Being Safe, Being Kind and Being learners."
During the second quarter, Springbrook staff worked hard by attending and leading professional development to better serve your child. Some examples include:
- Training in Components of Reading Block Collaborative Teaching
- Training in Trauma Informed Classroom
- Setting up your reading block via ELL co-teaching models
Here at Springbrook, we are dedicated to learning through the lens of equity to make every day a productive fun-filled day of learning for each child.
Celebrating Our Volunteers
Springbrook would like to give a big thank you to Mr. Lancer Supasatit for helping us with morning duty, reading in the classroom, and helping us monitor the playground and lunchroom!
Springbrook welcomes family support and volunteers. If you are interested, please complete a Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) online application. We will be forever grateful for your support.
