It’s National Football League (NFL) playoff time! Come to the library lab during your lunch this Friday, January 18, to join in on some Madden battles. It’s first come-first play, so get there as soon as possible during your lunch.
This Friday is the Martin Luther King, Jr. assembly! All four high schools and professionals from the 5th Avenue Theatre have been working diligently for months to put on this dynamic and moving rally for our KSD students, staff & community.
Spikeball will be Wednesday, January 23, after school at 12:40 p.m. in the 1900 gym. Packets are available in athletics for pick up and return.
Next Wednesday is the last home match for our wrestlers. Please come support our seniors in their last home match of their Kentlake careers. Also, the theme for the match is WWE Night so come decked out in your best pro wrestling attire. There will be a prize for best costume and a performance by the Kentlake Flames. Look for wrestlers to be in costume at school and come support next Wednesday.
There will be a meeting for those boys interested in playing soccer this Spring in the Cascade room next Thursday, January 24, right after school.

Battle of 272
Hey, Falcons! The annual Basketball "Battle of the 272" is another girls/boys doubleheader in our house on Friday, January 25! This is our spirit battle with Kentwood, and whoever packs the gym with the most fans, makes the most noise cheering, and has the best halftime show that night wins the trophy for the year!
Bring your ASB student ID to get in for free! We have 300 Kentlake rally towels to pass out at the door of both varsity games. Don't miss out on the fun and excitement of this annual battle for the most spirited!

College Credit Opportunities
Interested in earning college credit? If so, you are invited to come to an informational meeting to learn more about running start and college in High School. These informational meetings will be held on February 4 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in Rainier Hall and on February 6 at 8:50 a.m., during homeroom in Rainier Hall. If you are interested in attending the February 6 meeting, please sign up in student services.
