Three Options, One Mission
Meet every student where they are and provide equitable experiences that result in learning at high levels and college and career readiness prior to graduation.
Who We Are
Kent Phoenix Academy is based on research of the best educational practices in the nation. We believe all students can thrive and excel in a learning environment where each student is known well, connections are made between learning and student goals, and students have positive adult and community experiences and support.
Kent Phoenix Academy offers three unique high school programs to students in the Kent School District.
Each program has a different approach and focus for students who feel they want a learning environment different from a traditional high school. Project-based learning, service-learning, and work with colleges and employers is an integral part of all programs to help prepare students for post-secondary education and the workforce.
Students achieve personal goals and build self-confidence while participating in selected programs directly connected to their local and global community. Students will gain important literacy, math, and 21st-century skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, information literacy, communication, use of technology, teamwork, and leadership skills.
