Are you ready for the responsibility of college?

It’s entirely up to you to get to class on time, stay focused, and complete your assignments.

You will not be reminded daily to complete your assignments; it is expected. You won't receive regular progress reports or updates on your grade, unless you ask. Parents do not have access to grades and the college will not communicate with the parent regardless of the student’s age.  Your professor may not even take attendance.

You must provide your own transportation.

Kent School District does not provide transportation for Running Start. If you attend Green River, you student will be able to take the Metro.

There are some fees that you are expected to pay, and you must purchase your own textbooks and materials.

If you are eligible for free/reduced lunch, the college will waive most of your fees.  You are responsible for arranging any fee waivers with the college’s admissions office.

PLEASE do not let the fees stop you!!!  Speak with Mr. Koehler if you need financial assistance.
