• Placing a Work Order

    The KSD, Maintenance and Grounds Department works on all Kent School District properties.


    If  you see or have a maintenance repair to report we ask that you contact that building custodian and report the problem. They are trained and qualified to handle many small repairs and able to provide a detail account of the needed repair.


    We process all emergency and non-emergency requests through the Maintenance Direct Work Order Program. This program is real time and provides the maintenance and grounds department the ability to communicate with the building custodians in all repair matters.

    Q: I put in a work order and it hasn't been fixed how do I find out the status?

    A: The best way to find the status of a work order is to ask your buildings custodian. They have the ability to look up the status or email in regards to its progress.


    Q: How long does it take to get my repair request fixed? 

    A: The length of time to make any repair is dependent upon the technicians work load and any work orders that are emergencies will take precedence.
