Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program

  • The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) is a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) funded program that provides free fresh fruits and vegetables to students in elementary schools where at least 50% of students are eligible for free or reduced-price meals. The purpose of the program is to expand the variety of fruits and vegetables students experience, and encourage increased consumption and nutrition education.

    FFVP is offered at the following Elementary Schools:

    • Kent
    • Martin Sortun
    • Meadow Ridge
    • Millennium
    • Neely O’brien
    • Panther Lake
    • Park Orchard
    • Pine Tree
    • River Ridge
    • Scenic Hill
    • Springbrook
