Elementary Daily Schedule

  • Structure Learning for Students in Grades K-6 During Closure

    Use the tools from Elementary Resources to structure learning opportunities for students in grades K-6 every weekday during our closure.

    Monday

    • Literacy Development: Complete one lesson from the Reading & Writing or Multiple Subject Area sections.
    • Reading: Read articles or a book of choice for 30 minutes.
    • Math: Complete an i-Ready math lesson and/or play a math game.
    • Science: Complete at least one science task.
    • Physical Education: Move for at least 30 minutes. Take a walk, do yoga, or try a lesson.
    • Art: Complete a music lesson.
    • Band/Orchestra Students: Practice your instrument and complete a lesson from MusicTheory.net or the Music Arts Toolkit.

    Tuesday

    • Literacy Development: Complete one lesson from the Reading & Writing or Multiple Subject Area sections.
    • Reading: Read articles or a book of choice for 30 minutes.
    • Math: Complete an i-Ready math lesson and/or play a math game.
    • Social Studies: Read an article from Newsela, Discovery Education, ProQuest Culture Grams or complete a Teaching Tolerance lesson.
    • Physical Education: Move for at least 30 minutes. Take a walk, do yoga, or try a lesson.
    • Art: Work on an art lesson for at least 30 minutes.
    • Social-Emotional Learning: Complete a Second Step lesson.
    • Band/Orchestra Students: Practice your instrument.

    Wednesday

    • Literacy Development: Complete one lesson from the Reading & Writing or Multiple Subject Area sections.
    • Reading: Read articles or a book of choice for 30 minutes.
    • Math: Complete an i-Ready math lesson and/or play a math game.
    • Science: Complete at least one science task.

    • STEM: Complete a STEM activity.

    Thursday
