The Kent School District athletic program is an integral part of the total school experience for both boys and girls. It is the goal of the KSD middle-level athletic program to offer the opportunity of participation to every student who has the ability and desire to do so. In order to best facilitate sporting events and practices, the school year is divided into four sports seasons with each sport occurring in a specific season.

Creating an Inclusive & Positive Environment for All
-
The Kent School District is committed to providing an inclusive and positive environment for all students and to encourage participation. We believe that an understanding of the unique physical, psychological, emotional and developmental needs of all middle-level age student participants should drive all aspects of middle-level. Our goal is to guide middle-level students, coaches, parents, and community to work together to influence all students to realize their potential to become the best versions of themselves in a safe environment. We believe middle-level Education-Based Activity programs exist to connect students to the fabric and culture of the school which leads to academic and life-long success. Our ultimate purpose behind education-based activities is human growth and development which focuses on behavior, socialization, and self-realization.
