    Remote Learning Supply List

    • 1 white board (school can provide if necessary once school begins)
    • 4 fine tip white board (Expo type) markers (various colors OK)
    • 10 #2 pencils with erasers
    • Eraser
    • 1 pair of Scissors (age appropriate)
    • 1 Small box of crayons
    • 3 spiral notebooks (wide rule for K-2; college rule for 3-6)
    • 1 12-inch ruler
    • 4 ink pens
    • 1 set of headphones

    In School Supply List

    The following voluntary supply list reflects items needed throughout the school year. Horizon Elementary School will make provisions for any student who cannot afford the listed supplies. Please let the classroom teacher know if this is necessary.

    • 1 pencil box
    • 2 boxes of 12 pre-sharpened #2 yellow pencils
    • 5 black, fine-tip Expo dry-erase markers
    • 1 Sharpie permanent black marker
    • 1 box of 24 Crayola crayons
    • 1 pair of pointed scissors
    • 1 plastic two-pocket folder with prongs (any color)
    • 2 composition notebooks (wide ruled)
    • 1 spiral notebook (wide ruled)
    • 1 large pink eraser
    • $2.00 for a school-issued bookbag
    • 1 pair of over-the-head headphones clearly labeled with the student's name in a Ziplock bag (can be purchased from Horizon for $3.00)
    • 1 individual emergency supply kit

    Emergency Supply Kit

    Each student should have one individual emergency supply kit. 

    All unused kits will be returned to the student at the end of the school year.

    Option 1: Create Your Own Kit

    To create your own emergency supply kit, please place items in a one-gallon Ziplock bag clearly labeled with the student's name.

    • 2 cereal bars/granola bars/energy bars
    • 2 boxes of juice or bottled water
    • 1 solar blanket, rain poncho or 30-gallon black garbage bag
    • 1 glow stick
    • 1 family picture

    Option 2: Purchase from Horizon PTSA

    Purchase your emergency supply kit from the Horizon Parent Teacher Association (PTA) for $5.00.
