Welcome New Kindergarten Students & Families

Each spring, Kent School District elementary schools invite next year’s kindergartners and their families to their boundary school for kindergarten orientation.

Kindergarten orientation is an opportunity for families and school staff to begin getting to know each other.

    • Enroll child(ren) for the 2020-2021 school year
    • Meet the kindergarten teaching team and other key school staff
    • Tour the school
    • Complete fun activities in kindergarten classrooms
    • Meet other kindergarten families
    • Ask questions

Some schools also have buses on-site to provide short rides allowing incoming students to become acquainted with riding school district transportation.
