    Our Human Resources Employment Support team provides a variety of services for current and future employees as well as for our community. We serve our community by recruiting dynamic and diverse professionals who embody the mission of our district. Through our comprehensive onboarding program, we provide guidance, resources and assistance to support potential candidates in navigating our application process and then continuing that support once hired.

    We provide guidance and resources for all employee groups including ensuring substitute coverage is available when absences are necessary.

    Our team supports the work of our strategic goals through:

    • Hiring and retaining high quality staff representative of our community, who are committed to preparing students to be college and career ready, including the work of our substitute services team to ensure learning takes place even when staff are out of the classroom.
    • Serving as a resource to our staff and the community by ensuring district information is readily available. Parents and students often become employees which provides intense value given their connection and investment in the community.
    • Removing barriers in our applicant processing system, ensuring opportunity and access for all who want to work at the Kent School District.
