Second Quarter Message
So much has happened since school has started including the schoolwide expectations assembly, curriculum family night, Party with the Principal, Discovery U Week, picture day, Bullying Prevention Month, conference week, and the Scholastic Book Fair!
The first quarter ended with students in grades 4-6 hearing the adventurous stories from "The Only Road” author Alexandra Diaz in an all-school assembly.
The first few weeks of school are always filled with transitions, learning, and revisiting routines. Congratulations to students who won Party with the Principal!
These are the names generated from the Super Scholar ticket raffle. Students enjoy pizza and games with Principal Lloyd while celebrating "Being Safe, Being Kind and Being learners."
Springbrook staff has been working hard by attending and leading Professional Development to better serve your child. Some examples include training in how to a be warm demander, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), data meetings, math training, and English Language Learners (ELL) training on how to support emergent learners in the classroom!
Here at Springbrook, we are dedicated to learning through the lens of equity to make every day a productive fun-filled day of learning for each child.
