Calling all Cedar Heights Artists!!! It’s time again for the “Reflections Art Contest.” This year’s theme is “Heroes Around Me.” We need your creativity! You can win prizes and represent Cedar Heights! Your art can be visual, photography, a piece of writing, a dance, a film or music. Deadline for Cedar Heights art is December 3, 2018. Each year we do a Thanksgiving feast in the spirit of giving and bringing our community together. This Thanksgiving our goal is to feed over 300 people. If you feel led to contribute, your item may be homemade or store bought and will certainly be enjoyed by all. REGISTER NOW FOR THE SEASON 2 - Athletics!!! - A new online athletic participation registration system is available now. Registration will be open before the beginning of each season and will close when the season has officially started.
At this time, wearing hoods and hats, having earbuds in, or headphones out around your neck, is simply disrespectful. These items need to be stowed away once you are in the halls, or at 8:20. They may not be worn or taken out again until 3:10. This includes phones.
Opportunity to Review HIV lessons Washington State law requires that every student receives HIV/AIDS prevention education in grades 5 through 12. Because this unit covers sensitive topics, Washington State law and Kent School District policy require that parents are provided with an opportunity to preview these lessons.
