Return to In-Person Learning Survey Available Through January 25
Complete the Family Return to In-Person Learning Survey by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 25.
- This survey will ask for your student's name, grade, and school so that we can plan for adequate staff, but this is not a final commitment.
- Student level information is critical for planning.
- Individual family responses will not be published.
- KSD staff are also completing a survey during this time.

Remote Learning Continues through January 28
As announced on October 16, the Kent School District will remain in remote learning for the first semester of this year through January 28.
Revised School Reopening Guidelines
Governor Jay Inslee and Superintendent of Public Instruction Chris Reykdal announced an update in the metrics recommended for local school district decisions for in-person learning on December 16, 2020.
High COVID-19 Activity: >350 cases/100K/14 days, test positivity >10%
Moderate COVID-19 Activity: 50-350 cases/100K/14 days, test positivity 5-10%
Low COVID-19 Activity: <50 cases/100K/14 days, test positivity <5%.
Our reopening plan will be finalized for all schools by February 1, 2021, so that we are prepared to safely reopen when we reach and sustain moderate COVID-19 activity in our KSD community.

Moderate COVID-19 Activity Goal Kent School District will begin to phase in hybrid learning by grade level(s) when we reach and sustain moderate COVID-19 activity in King County, Covington, and Kent following the Washington State Department of Health guidelines.
