Special Education Advisory Committee Hosts Workshop
The Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) invites the community to attend a free worskhop, “IEPs and the Transition Plan,” presented by Robin Tatsuda, director of information and family support at Arc of King County, a nonprofit organization that serves people with intellectual and development disabilities. The workshop will be hosted at The Outreach Program’s (TOP) new building at 11000 SE 264th Street, Kent, on Monday, March 27, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. The presentation will cover how a transition plan differs from an IEP, the law, your rights, and the process.
