Dear Parents and Guardians of future KSD 9th graders,
Applications are now being accepted for the 2012-2013 Kent-Meridian Technology Academy (KMTA). This academy serves students in grades 9 through 12. Currently, we are seeking students who will be 9th graders next year from all service areas in the Kent School District.
Applications received after March 26, 2012 will be placed on a wait list.

While all 9th grade students in the Kent School District will be issued laptops, the KMTA offers some unique opportunities including:
Staff that have been teaching in a laptop environment for up to four years

Transportation is provided to our school which is located on the Kent-Meridian High School campus. Students have the opportunity to be involved in all extra-curricular programs as well as in band, orchestra, choir and other elective programs.
