She said that she was waiting for the call when it came. She worked through the day and into the night to make sure that our transition back into school was as smooth as possible despite having a bum knee. He puts in extra effort for instruction (prepping his students for the PSAT, bringing in important guest speakers, etc) and also extra curricular activities (Journalism fundraisers, homecoming tailgate party). She starts her day by reading with a student before the morning bell; something she has worked out with this student to get extra reading time before school starts. For her help in the classroom, she has no limits to the amount of work she is willing to put in to make a classroom/situation better. She is always upbeat, spirited, and passionate about KM and works hard to spread the spirit throughout the school with both students and staff. She is truly amazing! Classified: Melanie Self Melanie is a good role model for students. Her school spirit does not wane-even when teams are not winning. She is positive and energetic with everyone she encounters.
