Our Schools The Kent School District is the fourth largest school district in the state.
As of October 2009, 26,764 students were enrolled in Kent School District schools. An additional 391 students are enrolled but attending offsite programs such as Running Start (college).
Our district boundaries encompass approximately 71 square miles. That includes a large area of Kent, a significant portion of unincorporated King County, all of Covington, and portions of Auburn, Black Diamond, Maple Valley, Renton, and SeaTac.
