Letter to Parents/Guardians
Students in grades 3rd-6th at Covington Elementary will participate in the annual Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) on the dates below. This test assesses student ability against the State Standards in English Language Arts (ELA) (includes Reading, Writing, Listening, Grammar) and Mathematics.
Additionally, students in 5th grade will participate in the Measurement of Student Progress (MSP) in Science.
Below are our anticipated dates for each test. These dates may change as our school schedule continues to develop in the days leading up to the test. Thanks for your flexibility and understanding!

Follow this link to an overview of the SBA Practice Test. To access the test, click the "Take the Practice and Training Tests" button at the top of the page, sign in as "GUEST" in all fields, select your grade level, and then choose the test you wish to practice.
