bulletDiscuss reactions in small groups
bulletAlternative article: Scaffolding to Success
bulletAlternative activity: WebQuest on scaffolding process
bulletAlternative activity: Use cooperative groups, as a jigsaw, to read all three articles. Within the small groups, one or more team members would read each article, reporting back to their small group a summary of their articles. Then within that group, define the characteristics of scaffolding described within all readings.

(We used colored index cards to assign group membership, and had each card labeled 1, 2 or 3 to define the article read by each.)
