Welcome!

Our athletic program is an integral part of the Kent School District mission:  to successfully prepare all students for their future.  We believe that student participation in a comprehensive athletic program helps our young people become better school and community members and provides opportunities not ordinarily available in the regular curriculum.  Studies show that girls and boys who are active in sports have better school attendance, fewer disciplinary problems and higher graduation rates.  Participation in athletics promotes leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, goal-setting and other valuable life skills.

The Kent School District offers a wide variety of athletic programs at both the high school and middle school level.  Each school's athletic program is overseen by a building chairperson, who receives guidance and support from the district athletic director.  The district is a member of the South Puget Sound 4A League (SPSL), which, at 18 members, is the largest 4A league in Washington State.  In turn, the SPSL is one of three member leagues that comprise the 4A WIAA (Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association) West Central District #3.

We take great pride in all of our student athletes!

As directed by SPSL administration, the SPSL does not track or post the information below.  These types of activities are labor intensive as well as not a mission of the league.
