  • Student pictures-Student pictures are used in several ways. Classroom teachers take pictures to use in projects, and in newsletters. Daniel Elementary uses student pictures in our in building News Shows, Bulletin Boards, Powerpoints and the Yearbook. Kent School District uses student pictures to accompany information and press releases. Sometimes pictures are used as part of a project that is posted on the internet. We usually do not use names but if a name is included it is only the first name. If you do not want your child's picture used in any of the above ways we need a letter from you each year stating that you do not want their picture published. You can select to have no pictures of your child used,  you can select pictures of your child used in the building level only, or pictures used at the district level but not on the internet.

  • Electronic Use Policy
    KSD Board Policy 2022 – Electronic Resources was revised for the 2008-09 school year. The new policy statement provides the purpose for using technology-based resources in the district and direction for establishing district procedures for the acceptable use of those resources. The most significant change is students no longer sign a user agreement as technology use is now universal. To read the complete policy click here.
